This percussionist is a New Zealand-born drummer and percussionist whose career has taken him from stages around the world to the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, where he now performs as the drummer for Cirque du Soleil’s breathtaking production “O” at the Bellagio.

Known for a rare versatility that spans jazz, pop, musical theatre, and world percussion, this percussionist is in constant demand as both a live performer and a recording artist. In Las Vegas, he has collaborated with acts ranging from The Swingbeats and Franky Perez to Bee Gees Gold, Truth or Dare Madonna Tribute, Dave Perrico’s Pop Soul, Las Vegas Pipe Band, Mukhlisa, and The Kiwi Three.

Having performed in over 26 musical theatre productions across New Zealand and Las Vegas—including standout shows like Chicago, Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, Avenue Q, and Spamalot—this percussionist brings theatrical flair and precision to every performance.

International audiences have also experienced his artistry during tours with Holland America and P&O Cruise Lines, where he performed in everything from showbands to jazz trios and rock ensembles. In 2017, he released The Puzzle, the debut album of his world/jazz project Mukhlisa, which blends Middle Eastern percussion with rich jazz instrumentation.

Armed with a Bachelor of Music with Honours in Jazz Performance and a Diploma in Teaching and Learning from the University of Canterbury, this percussionist now calls Las Vegas home, where he continues to teach drums and percussion privately, inspiring the next generation of musicians while captivating audiences nightly with his artistry.
