In the spirit of Phil Collins, the singer actually started as a drummer. He studied music at the University of Houston and played percussion with La Mafia before moving to Las Vegas. In Las Vegas, he has played with various artists, including Dian Diaz and Sheena Easton. Switching to lead vocals, he's now the bandleader of his Las Vegas-based group. The band plays a variety of genres in addition to country, including: classic rock, Latin, reggae, and soul.
